Support and help is always part of my work with every client. If it's a  tricky question that I can't answer, I have a network of contacts who can.

After many years of wishing I could be successful in a profession that I actually enjoyed, I embarked on a new career as a Graphic Designer.

By gaining a BA(hons)Graphic Design in 2009 I  realised my dream to be part of the creative industry. In my capacity as designer I  listen to my clients needs, suggest practical solutions and endeavour to portray their business in a professional and creative manner.

I love designing logos from scratch, working closely with my clients to produce exactly what they need. I'm very thorough with this process and like to make sure my clients get something that they will be proud of for many years.

A lot of my work involves print, producing brochures, leaflets, flyers, posters, business stationery, clothing tags, calendars and just about anything that can be printed.  Website design is also something I love, the creative process from first draft to published site is exciting, challenging and fun - there is something really satisfying about hitting the publish button and seeing your website live for all the world to see.

These days I spend a lot of time on  Social Media - a fabulous marketing tool for any business. I can sort out all your banners/profile pics/headers/covers etc. for Twitter, Facebook,  LinkedIn or whatever you like. My designs will provide you with consistency across all your social media platforms.

My hours are flexible, I work from home in my lovely garden office, my overheads are low and can therefore keep my costs at a very competitive and affordable price - a great thing for a new business looking for a professional start without the high fees of a large design agency.

Working freelance also means I can fit life in around my work and balance my work hours to suit my clients me, my kids and me.

Please consider me if you think I would fit in with your business.

If you have a great idea but can't seem to

visualise making it happen,  I can help.

I love...

Cathie has recently designed a logo, business card and website for me. She is very conscientious and came up with many different ideas for me to choose from. She is easy going and very pleasant to work with and eager to please. I was delighted with the results!

Jane Sarah Blumsom

PA, Champneys, Nov 2010

Cathie is a confident graphic designer who is able to follow a brief and contribute to the end result. I have been very pleased with the work  Cathie has supplied to a company I have worked for as well as my own consultancy corporate branding.

Jan Lloyd

Cathie has been excellent in the construction of my website, her enthusiasm with new ideas and ways to improve things are second to none. She goes above and beyond what she needs to, thank you very much.

Jason Swain

Cathie has done several excellent bits of design for Transition Town Berkhamsted. She understands what we need, delivers on time and with some real flare. Thanks Cathie!

Danny Bonnett

Transition Town Berkhamsted,  Nov 2010

Cathie is a  great designer and project manager to work with, really expanding on an unimaginative brief and keeping involved in the project right through to successful delivery.

Helen Pringle

Communications Manager, Nov 2010

Cathie is an extremely professional and reliable designer who can work to a tight brief or with a loose idea. Her flair and skills are just a few of the reasons I would go back to Cathie with whatever I needed, knowing I could trust the results.

Jamie Dean Brown

Cathie has been a great supporter of the school over the past few years and we have found her very helpful and reliable. We often have small quick jobs where we give very little notice; Cathie is always willing to work within our timescales and produce great designs for tickets, event flyers and brochures. 2014

Friends of Little Gaddesden School

Cathie was recommended to me by a friend and it has proven to be a great decision to heed my friend's advice. On seeking a logo for a new business start up Cathie provided a fantastic service from inception to completion. She not only listened extremely well from the outset but provided great feedback during the process and was able to help me with difficult decisions. I feel she has produced a fantastic and unique design of which I am proud. Initially, Cathie provided a good variety of designs from which the final design evolved through several cycles. Her work was undertaken promptly and professionally. I would not hesitate to recommend Cathie George to anyone seeking design work and am sure I will be approaching her again for related work again in the very near future

Neil Massie

I have found Cathie delightful to work with. Positive, helpful, creative and reliable.
I have no hesitation in highly recommending her.

Lindy Weinreb

Director at DeeTV, Nov 2011

I regularly require updates to adverts and marketing material – Cathie understands the brief has been very efficient in producing quality designs. I particularly value Cathie’s willingness to mange a project from concept through to final printed materials.  It is an easy process working with Cathie and nothing seems to be too much bother! 2014
